As a member of Engineering Team for OFSAA-Platform, you will join the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) team and take ownership and accountability for Design and Development of high quality installers & patching toolsets for the OFSAA suite that complies to Oracle On-Premise and Cloud standards.

 

Description\:

 

The Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit, and specifically the Analytics (OFSAA) line of business, is responsible for the development and marketing of industry specific profitability, risk management, regulatory compliance and budgeting and planning, business intelligence and data foundation built on a common toolset / platform.  As a key member of this team, you will help design, build and deliver the product installer and it’s patching toolkit.

We have technical developer positions open for Designing and Developing installers and toolsets / foundation components for the OFSAA Platform & Cloud deployment of OFSAA-SaaS offerings. These are crucial roles to ensure that the products / toolsets that we deliver are high quality products to banks across the globe. We are looking for someone who will plan, coordinate, design, develop and deliver high quality installers and patching tools . You will be responsible for development and delivery of high quality installers that are part of the OFSAA suite of applications in an agile development environment. You will work with other Engineering, Quality Assurance and Product management teams to ensure solutions are thoroughly designed, developed and unit tested, ensure integrated with other components, within the OFSAA suite of products.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES\:

• Provide technical expertise in delivering high quality software product installers/ patching toolsets.
• As part of the senior member of the FSGBU's flagship Analytics Platform, the candidate will be responsible for building out newer capabilities and be part of the Cloud journey that the product suite is embarking on and have a flair to explore and practice continuous integration, continuous delivery and agile methodologies.

• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Primary Skills\: - 

2-4 years of relevane experience is required in Core Java, J2EE, RESTful Architecture, SQL Scripting, Shell scripting.

Experience in working on Java based applications.

Core java is a must. 

Hands on experience with JSP, Servlets and RESTful API implementation is a must. 

Software installers/ patching toolkits experience is an added advantage. 

Experience in an Agile environment with a high level of automation. 

Deploy applications via automation with configuration management tools.

 

 

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. Gaining competence in own area and acquiring a higher level understanding of role, processes and procedures. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 0-2 years of previous software engineering or related experience.!|!
