About the team

More specifically, we are the Procure-to-pay team. Our mission is to design and implement easy-to-use, scalable, and performing solutions that unleash intelligent management of supply and flexible invoicing and payment capabilities that are vital to a company’s success. We’re the team that helps ensure your favorite gadget is always in stock when you go to buy it. Our solutions help to advance supply-chain collaboration and streamline internal and external business processes and transactions. We think out of the box and spend a lot of time brainstorming. The greatest and simplest solutions come from the group effort.

What we are looking for

Oracle NetSuite is looking for a talented Senior Engineer to extend the ERP – Procure to Pay team in our engineering center in Barcelona. Someone who has a strong drive for excellent software design and clean code principles. A senior engineer who takes pride in their work and has a desire to delight customers. Someone who takes initiative, takes responsibility and takes ownership of their projects. This new team member will strengthen our ability to deliver even more complex procure-to-pay business features.

What we’ll expect from you and help you achieve in your next role

  • Implement solutions that include database schema, business logic as well as some presentation layer work.
  • Use best practices to create features with the highest levels of reliability, efficiency, scalability, and security.
  • Work closely with other development teams, product management and QA to define and implement a new product offering while ensuring the continued functionality of the existing ERP system.
  • Develop tests to ensure quality.

Your qualifications & skills

  • B.S or Master's in computer engineering or relevant experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • 5 years’ software development experience
  • 5 years’ SQL database experience
  • 5 years’ experience with Java (C# or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills in English

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
