Job Description

The Oracle Health Sciences Global Business Unit (HSGBU) is a specialized business unit focused solely on the software and service needs of the health sciences industry. By delivering software solutions aimed at adding value to Healthcare and life science organizations the HSGBU has the opportunity to be at the forefront of enabling better patient outcomes within the industry.   The SaaS EDC Services group within the HSGBU works with our Life Science customers to implement InForm platform software solutions that enable them to deliver innovative therapies, diagnostics devices and optimized care processes to prevent and cure illness.

Role\:

1.    Lead technical integration projects for the InForm platform with related HSGBU products/solutions and third party integrated systems for customer trials, this includes but is not limited to, requirements gathering, analysis, & documentation, system configuration and testing, coordination with design and testing teams.
2.    Extensive customer and vendor interactions which can include mentoring sessions, training sessions, system and configuration guidance, system troubleshooting & overall consulting on a wide array of products/solutions.
3.    Lead custom solution projects including analyzing customer needs, solution/architecture design, scoping, implementation, testing, and deployment
4.    Consult customers on implementation and use of InForm platform of products (InForm, Central Designer, Central Coding, InFormAdapter) which may include technical implementation of environments, mentoring on product functionality, facilitation of workshops, customer presentations and technical troubleshooting-- Coordinate with internal project management, consulting, support, and product development resources to ensure timely and quality customer delivery, address issues and shape new offerings.
5.    Use structured HSGBU consulting methodology for all integration, implementation, and mentoring project.

7.    You will be trained to become an SME (Subject Mater Expert) on of the HSGBU project and will be expected to provide expert advice to support both our internal and external customers.


Technical skills required(more skils will be a plus)\:
•    InForm / Clinical one applications or other EDC platform experience  is a plus.
•    Languages - C#.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Java, Shell
•    Operating Systems - Linux, Windows
•    Oracle database
•    SOA, Web services
•    SAS

Consulting skills required\:
•    Knowledge of clinical research industry and practices and regulations is a plus
•    Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
•    Experience and understanding of computer systems and software application implementation including knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
•    Strong organizational skills, with a track record of managing multiple tasks effectively
•    Ability to work as part of a team, yet work independently on complex problems.

 

!|!Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
