Job Description

Job Introduction:

A challenging and exciting opportunity exists for a qualified candidate to be part of the Business Systems team. The Systems Analyst will work cross-functionally with internal OFD Business and IT teams to support global projects.  There is also work exposure to various Oracle functions and systems, development and business process tools, and training.    

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project lifecycle by working cross-functionally with various stakeholders
    1. Research: Gain an understanding of the business function
    2. Identify: Provide ideas, concepts, and mockups that quantify improvement and help the team visualize the project objective
    3. Requirements: Gather requirements from the business to support project objective
    4. Execution: Facilitate the execution of the project requirements     
  • Help facilitate problem-solving and decision-making
  • Engage with IT early for proof of concept and technical considerations
  • Assist in the roll-out and training for new functionality and enhancements
  • Prepare reports and provide presentations for various project stakeholders

 

Qualifications & Characteristics:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Information Technology, or other relevant field of study
  • 3 - 5 year’s work experience in business or IT analyst role
  • Motivated self-starter with project management and solution development experience
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with unstructured problems
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Superior communication skills - oral and written
  • Desire to gain a deep understanding of the business and internal processes; passion for the Tech industry

 

Location:

  • CO 
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.
