We are looking for a PhD student to work as a part-time (1-day a week for 3.5 years) intern. By being embedded in Oracle Labs Australia as an Industry PhD student, you get to interact with our team across all aspects of Intelligent Application Security, learn about the importance and relevance of application security in today’s world, understand what it takes to identify research areas that have high impact, and understand how technology transfer is enabled. This will also help you develop your professional skills including entrepreneurship and innovation, while learning what it takes to be a leader in applied research.

Essential Criteria:

•  Enrolled in a PhD in computer science or similar
• Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques especially in natural language processing and Generative Adversarial Networks
• Excellent knowledge of text mining techniques and its relevance to cyber security
• Excellent problem solving abilities
• Ability to work on applied research problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• Have suitable work rights in Australia
