Job Description

The Latin American Lift Services team is seeking a Technical Account Manager to work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to lead migrations from on-premise/other cloud vendors to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will provide your leadership, project management and communication expertise in technology and process areas to ensure success for Oracle's customers by driving multiple technical projects, programs, initiatives, schedule, or solutions from initiation to completion.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities include:

  • Defining and managing projects and programs, including setting priorities and deliverables, success criteria, schedules, etc.
  • Defining and managing project-level scope, resources, issues/risks, status, etc.
  • Managing multiple projects through project lifecycles.
  • Managing Oracle and Customer’s stakeholder expectations.
  • Driving timely decisions, identifying and managing risks, and escalating appropriately.
  • Driving the communication among the technical team and the customer.
  • Facilitating project leadership team meetings.
  • Facilitating cross-silo communications and decision making across team, division, and company.
  • Understanding and solving complex problems with data-driven decision making.
  • Producing weekly status reports and leading weekly/daily status meetings.
  • Producing executive-ready communication.

Experience needed to succeed:

  • Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
  • 7+ years of experience with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, and others), or relevant technical project/program management experience.
  • Close familiarity with Oracle products and systems.
  • Demonstrated project management, organizational, leadership and coordination skills. 
  • Professional maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.
  • Quick understanding of new scenarios and projects that were already initiated.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, verbal and written communication skills. – Experience communicating 1:1 with customers and internal stakeholders. Presenting at conferences is a plus.
  • Experience teaming with technical, tactical and executive levels.
  • Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through internal and external organizations and individuals.
  • Project Management Professional certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum / Kanban – Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and others), terminology, tech stacks.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant technical experience.
  • Technical degree (Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field) preferred.
