Job Role Summary

You will solve interesting technical challenges by defining, designing, deploying and troubleshooting Java Card based applications and platforms always thinking about reliability, security, and performance.

We are also looking for tools development to architect, design, implement and deliver on a spectrum of demands across SDKs/IDEs in the area of secure IoT edge devices. 

Job Specifics

SW development in the context of the Java Card SW platform : 

- Reference Implementation based on the standard Java Card specifications and Protection Profiles  

- Test Compatibility suite (TCK) 

- SDKs/Simulators 

- Tools

- Applications

Prototyping with focus on porting the Java Card runtime onto HW relevant to the IoT related market segments.

Education and Qualification 

B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience relative to functional area.

Engineers who are having the career path root in the Software Development areas using Java and C languages are highly appreciated in this job position.

At least 10 years experience in product development in the Java Card industry.

IoT platforms practical experience reflected in product components implementation or prototypes involving IoT edge devices.

 

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
