Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) is responsible for implementing, running, and improving nearly all of Oracle's Enterprise On-Premise and Cloud Applications.

We often race out ahead of standard product and build extensions as well as custom applications to meet the needs of our 100,000+ employees, Fortune 100 Company. Once proven, our ideas and innovations quickly find their way back into core product.

 

OAL-OM Team supports the internal Oracle Business using the newest version of Fusion ERP. We work on all the type of line of businesses (Software, Hardware, Cloud) from the Oracle palette. We are responsible for the quoting and the Order Management area.

 

We work in a DevOps structure, so not just develop and implement new functionalities but also support and maintain it after it has been moved to production.

Detailed Description:

 

• Work with Oracle’s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle’s global infrastructure.
• Support the daily business of Oracle
• Analyze and fix production issues
• Make root cause analysis
• Suggest and implement solutions
• Cooperate with other teammates from India, Mexico and US.

 

Skill/Experience:
 

• BSC/MSC in Information Systems/Computer Science or any applied sciences related to IT
• At least 3 years IT experience in supporting, implementing and developing ERP/CRM/BI applications (preferably Oracle)
  In-depth knowledge and experience with SQL or PL/SQL
• Knowledge and experience at least one with the following languages: JAVA, Groovy, JavaScript, Python, C#
• Knowledge and experience with one or more Fusion Application modules and architecture – nice to have
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm and passion for building next-gen enterprise apps
• Ability to deliver effectively in a team setting as well as independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced virtual environment that demands co-ordination across time-zones
  
   

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
