Job Description
As a Director of Human Resources, you will build trusted advisor relationships with all levels of management across assigned client groups; partner with client business units to apply HR management principles and knowledge to establish rapport, trust, confidence and credibility with management and employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the business/culture to provide vision, strategic leadership and high level communication across the organization
- Formulate and execute organization-wide programs and initiatives (e.g. workforce planning, salary/bonus/stock review, employee engagement, retention, organizational change, performance management, and top talent and leadership development)
- Translating the overall Global / EMEA Human Resources strategy & priorities into a range of activities and programs (Human Resources business plan) in Israel and ensure their implementation.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the executive leadership team by developing strong, proactive and collaborative working relationships
- Act as the point contact for senior leadership to provide guidance on strategic HR initiatives
- Utilize a data driven approach to identify key trends in the business and proactively provide solutions
- Lead a team of HR professionals by providing guidance on team objectives, coaching and mentoring the staff
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.
- 10+ years of experience as a member of a progressive HR Team at a high technology company
- Self-directed Human Resources leader with prior experience in a dynamic, fast growth and matrix environment
- Change management experience and negociaton skills
- Provide subject matter expertise in employment/labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to work in faced paced environment on both strategic and tactical levels
- Ability to build trust and credibility between Human Resources and the client group
- Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships quickly
- Business acumen skills are essential for success
- Strong team collaboration and management skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the company and lead presentations to executive leadership
- Provide subject matter expertise in employment/labor laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Polished verbal and written communication skills; and, effective problem solving ability
- Self-directed and possess the ability to quickly learn and use internal systems and tools
- Ability to execute on business strategy within a global matrix HR organization
Play an important role in leading the HR group as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. Develop and implement global company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., benefit programs, manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment). Advise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Ensures staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental specifications.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. Successful track record as a generalist and manager. BA/BS degree.
