Position Description:
As a member of Oracle ERP Cloud development team, you will resolve customer bugs and deliver new features on Oracle ERP Cloud product for global customers cross regions. Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture. Deliver high quality code. Create automated unit test scripts. Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability.
Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer, Business or Industry Engineer;
This profile is required to perform Support activities with minor development (initially) and it is expected to be 50/50 at some point.
Experiences with development in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
Experience with Java development is a PLUS.
Good understanding of Agile software development principles including using common tools such as JIRA
ERP /financial Applications related knowledge and experiences (PLUS).
Strong technical design, programming and troubleshooting skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Quick learner for new technologies and product knowledge;
Exhibits good communication, team work, self-motivated, customer focus and results-oriented;
Flexible to work in out of business hours to solve critical customer issues
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise.
Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
