Oracle Flexcube Consulting team is hiring dynamic and energetic individuals to help our customers transform their core banking solutions with the state of the art solutions offered by Oracle products through consulting and implementation of these products. The team is looking for both experience senior technical consultant with a background in  implementation of banking solutions with development experience in  Oracle PL/SQL, JAVA/J2EE, XML or junior technical consultant starting the careers having strong knowledge in the preceding programming languages and technologies.

Oracle has a strong loyal applications install base, that requires support to expand & extend and/or to adopt new technologies.  The main objective of the consultant is to become a trusted advisor for Oracle's partners and customers through the consulting activities carried out for the implementation of the Oracle banking solutions product offerings. This dynamic individual will be responsible for consulting and implementing the Banking solutions products to both existing and new Oracle customers .

 

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Understand and acquire in-depth knowledge of Oracle product solutions offerings in order to provide consulting services to customer that creates positive and lasting impact.
• Discuss and understand customer’s existing business and process flow in order to determine the supported features and gaps in Oracle product solution offerings and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist customer in functional/technical configuration of Oracle products to meet their business need.
• Discuss and create the functional/technical requirement specifications documents of the gaps encountered in oracle product solution offerings.
• Create/review/present the functional/technical design documents of the customizations requirements in the Oracle product.
• Provide functional/technical support for development  and implementation of the Oracle product.

• Analyze the root cause of the problems reported by internal and external stakeholders during the implementation of the Oracle banking solution product.
• Provide the technical/functional solutions to the problems reported by the internal and external stakeholders during the implementation of the Oracle banking solution product.
• Provide assistance and support in configuration and maintenance of the implementation and production environments having the Oracle solutions deployed.
• Establishing, building and nurturing long term, positive business relationships with customer through forging a deep understanding of their business, the challenges they face, future projects and plans.
•  Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders of the project in customer’s organization and Oracle’s internal organization.

 

WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED?

•  2 to 8 years of development experience  in Oracle PL/SQL, Java/J2EE , XML
• Proficiency in Oracle database concepts , PL/SQL, imports , exports, backup. Capable of understanding and creating complex SQL queries using joins on multiple tables.
• Able to walk through the code flow written in PL/SQL , JAVA and infer the underlying business processes.
• Able to understand business requirements and develop new code lines in PL/SQL, JAVA/J2EE to meet the business requirement
• Able to create test cases based on the business requirement specification document and test the development to ensure that development meets the requirement specifications.
• Strong analytical ability, problem solving and technical debugging skills.  Not to give-up attitude. Able to analyze the code flow and determine the root cause of the incidents and be able to make the code changes to provide the solutions of the incidents.
• Experience in banking domain , cloud knowledge, understanding of micro-services architecture is preferable.
• Certification in PL/SQL and JAVA will be preferred.
•  A strong interest in technology and strong communication skills. Understanding of the use and application of IT systems in a Business environment
• High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, commitment, self-belief and achievement-orientation. Self-motivated to continuously expand personal and professional knowledge.
• An eagerness to work in a high pressured, fast moving and challenging environment
• Fluency in English & Spanish.

Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
