Job Description

RESPONSIBILITES

Support the pre-sales activities for Oracle Communications Enterprise and Managed Service Providers customers and prospects in the Middle East and Africa Region (MEA).

Position the Oracle Communications Enterprise products and solutions from the technical perspective, convey the message around the value-add that we can offer, defend our competitive edge and guide the customers in the technology evolution towards the Cloud communications adoption.

 

Work in close collaboration with the supported Sales Reps; develop together the account strategy, align on the execution and be the go-to person for the technical related topics.

Ensure all technical pre-sales are addressed. This includes but is not limited to collaborate on RFx-responses, holding workshops and presentations to educate the customer, validation of technical solutions and architectures etc...

 

Provide vision/guidance to regional teams on technology and product requirements and trends to align product roadmaps with your customers strategy.

Coordinate the execution of demoes, proof of concepts and other hands-on activities that might be required to execute the sales strategy for the region.

Works closely with Professional Services personnel to analyze customer technical environments and requirements.

This position requires traveling within Europe and potentially Middle-East/Africa.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expert level knowledge of Enterprise voice communications, data networking, Unified Communications, Cloud Computing and SD-WAN.
  • Expert level knowledge in the design and deployment of SIP signaling protocol; understanding of Network Function Virtualization and CNCF Cloud Native architectures.
  • 7+ years of experience in the telephony, IP, Signaling, VoIP and/or networking industries.
  • Knowledge for SS7, Diameter and HTTP/2 Signaling Aspects is a plus.
  • Strong Business Acumen on Value Propositions and Drafting Successful Compelling Events
  • Prior experience in supporting sales team selling system level products and services.
  • High level of enthusiasm and passion for market and business development
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Technical field.

 

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
