We are looking for a hands-on senior user interface developer with a passion for developing our Student Financial Planning SaaS solution.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Software development skills designing, coding, peer review, testing and debugging
• Problem solving skills, critical thinking and an ability to be self-driven and work in a fast paced and challenging environment to deliver timely and quality solutions
• Working closely with Product Architects, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and other development teams.
• Keeping up with latest technologies and utilizing them in development projects
• Ensure compliance with development methodology, process and standards

 

Job Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent fields
• Experience of 3-12 years in software development is required. 
• Experience with cloud platforms, cloud technologies/deployments
• Experience doing full stack development of web applications using technologies and methodologies such as Java 8+, Angular, GWT, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, Servlets, Web services, REST, Maven, SCM, Agile, OO, Docker and CI systems such as Jenkins
• Experience in SaaS/Cloud as well as in enterprise software solutions.
• High degree of competence in written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating technical material.

Commercial experience as a developer of complex distributed applications that scale through concurrent execution and multi-threaded design with large numbers of concurrent users.

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
