A unique opportunity to join the “Dashboard & Framework” team and be part of the Oracle Management Cloud service that monitors, manages and gives single pane of glass for management of on-premise and cloud assets. Our team develops dashboard visualization tools for data exploration and analytics of customers’ IT data, which consists of millions of assets and billions of measurements and properties for those assets. Our visualization tools allow users to quickly and easily navigate this enormous amount of data and derive meaning from it. 

What You’ll Do

• You’ll be continually challenged to solve cloud-scale problems and have an opportunity to contribute to the foundational technology of Oracle Management Cloud (OMC) on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Work on frameworks and software engineering tasks such as design and development of systems that are base for next generation features that delivers high scalability, reliability and ease of use.
• Get into depth of complex issues, looking at problems as opportunities rather than hurdles and come up with multiple solutions.
• Design and program features that are robust, performant and scalable with little external assistance.
• Work on full stack solutions from UI to REST APIs to database and networking

What You’ll Bring

• Strong technical interest and self-drive to learn new technologies and influence best practices to wider developer community

• Ability to work with a global team to achieve wider organization goals
• BE degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding with practical experience
• Very good fundamentals of computer science basics i.e. data structure algorithms
• Development experience in Java, SQL, micro-service based architecture.
• Some experience in UI technologies and/or Javascript async programming.
• Knowledge in analytics and big data handling will be a plus.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
