We’re the team that implements and supports all the MySQL related drivers. We track many of the more popular languages that drive much of the web and enterprise sites.

As a member of our team you will write C, C++, and PHP code to fix bugs and add key features to our existing PHP driver implementations.

We are looking for highly skilled, self-motivated individuals who do not need significant oversight and who are interested in taking charge of a task and driving it to completion!

We are a distributed, work from home team with colleagues all over the world, including your country! This is a fully remote position.

 

Qualification:

• 6+ years experience developing C and C++ software. A solid background in C here is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the POSIX standards (Windows API is also valued)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and other transport layer protocols
• Good knowledge of distributed systems.
• MySQL or other database usage experience/development is highly valued.
• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
