The Exadata Cloud product management team focuses on enabling the Oracle field to sell and deploy Oracle Database Cloud Services. This position will focus on developing tools and processes to manage the delivery, deployment, and support of Exadata Cloud@Customer. Responsibilities will include:

• Defining the deployment and delivery processes
• Developing lightweight database applications to support deployment and delivery process
• Experience in one or more of these: SQL, Python, C++, and Databases.
• Enabling the field on these processes and support applications
• Enhancing the applications to support new features and releases of the underlying cloud services
• Maintaining applications to support new releases and version

The preferred candidate will have software development or business analyst experience. Candidate should have knowledge of Oracle Database technologies and tools. Experience with Oracle Application Express helpful but not required.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
