Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Advanced Customer Services is expanding its team of Sales Consultants in ANZ. This team is made up of innovators and creative senior professionals who have a strategic thinking capability as well as able to drive business forward and have a sense of ownership. We are seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant with a diverse range of technical and functional skills, right across Oracle technologies and applications. The Master Principal Sales Consultant must have experience in engaging at a very senior strategic level and who has a background in Business applications or similar, which include either Oracle Cloud, CRM, Business Intelligence, ERP, HCM etc.

Partners with Oracle Sales Executives, Key Account Directors, Technical Account Managers and Application Sales Leaders as a Master Principal Sales Consultant, have responsibility for engaging ANZ customers to provide services solutions leveraging the full set of Oracle Advanced Customer Services portfolio, while working at very senior level in these customers in order to help achieve their goals and maximize their investment in Oracle products. The individual that will be considered for this role must show continuous experience and achievements taking on difficult customer and partner environments and business challenges and to develop and manage the proposal of comprehensive solutions and to guide their adoption by the customer.

The candidate must demonstrate a very strong Enterprise Architecture capability, comfortable from the Business Architecture and Strategy through to Realisation in IT. They must have a large-scale change, transformation, and implementation background in addition to understanding the features of services and how they help lower risk and accelerate delivery of business value.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience 

  • 10+ years in pre-sales/ implementation in 2 or more of Oracle’s 2 Applications for either on-Premise, IaaS, PaaS or SaaS.
  • Thorough knowledge of application design; In-depth knowledge of competitors
  • Core Solution Engineering / Business Analyst Skills:
  • Discovery, business process/ use case definition, solution presentation
  • Prior experience designing and re-engineering business processes in HR, Finance or CRM domains
  • Should have the ability to drive Oracle services opportunities through effective business process interactions with customers
  • Experience leading large transformational deals through strong solutioning capabilities
  • Strong customer facing, data analysis and persuasion skills
  • Ability to connect services related activities/tasks to business impact and be able to demonstrate value proposition, business benefits and ROI to customers
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques
  • Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent; advanced degree highly desirable
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation.  Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives.  Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
