 We are looking for an enterprise architect to join Oracle in Melbourne.

Oracle Aconex is a large SaaS offering that consists of many services. We take pride in delivering high quality, scalable and modern solutions meeting the high standards of compliance and security requirements our customers come to expect of an Oracle product.

To set the standards even higher, we need an enterprise architect who can provide organisation-wide guidance.

Role Description

You will be collaborating with the principal architect of Aconex to provide consistent architectural guidance to manyglobal development teams.

You will liaise with the security leadership of the global business unit to ensure high standards of security requirements are met proactively. Also, you will play a pivotal role when responding to security incidents. 

You will assist development teams to ensure compliance with Oracle-wide processes and standards set up by corporate architects.

Oracle Aconex has a large number of development, cloud engineering, operations and SRE teams around the world. You will provide leadership to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered with minimum friction.

When our customers enquire about privacy, security, and data retention issues, you will be able to provide accurate and timely information. 

Your knowledge of global regulatory frameworks such as GDPR will assist our teams in designing modern solutions.

Does this sound like you?

  • Proven technical lead with at least three years of providing architectural leadership to a large organisation
  • Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, in a cloud-based environment
  • Strong communication skills with all key stakeholders to ensure the architectural vision is understood and implemented correctly
  • Familiar with global regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, IRAP, and FedRAMP
  • Able to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring the best out of everyone
  • Lead lean and agile ways of working, promoting, foster high standards in the software delivery process
  • Excellent communicator, influencing skills and negotiation skills to get management buy-in on ideas and concepts
  • Proactive, open-minded, quick thinker and assertive
  • Tertiary qualified

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
