As a member of the MySQL Middleware and Clients team, you'll work primarily on the MySQL Connector/NET product. You will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of new features for the product and for maintaining the current code base. Your versatility, experience in .NET and C#, and your will to prosper, is what is going to help us keeping Connector/NET in the front line.

What are we looking for in you?

• Have a BS/MS in Computer Science
• 3+ years of Software Developer experience
• Readiness to design and develop new features as well as troubleshooting and maintaining existing code
• Understand software development methodologies, coding standards, best practices and principles, and design patterns
• To be able to work remotely with limited supervision
• To be able to coordinate priorities within a group a tasks
• To be able to communicate openly and efficiently with managers, leads and other teams
• To be able to communicate with end users and customers, via direct dialog, forums, blogs or seminars
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork

What we expect from you?

• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Fluent in C#, .NET framework or .NET Core
• Experienced in version control systems, particularly git ecosystem
• Experienced in RDBMS and SQL

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
