We are looking for highly skilled programmers with experience building scalable web applications in Java, JavaScript, and SQL. You would be working with Product owners to analyze product requirements and build features that scale across tens of thousands of systems.

As a senior member of our Logging Analytics team you will own the design and implementation of configuring log data collection, processing, and accessing using technologies such as database transaction management, web services, Kafka/streaming services, etc.

You will build products in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will solve sophisticated and exciting problems in the area of distributed computing and large scale system design. Our group has some very hard and exciting problems to solve in the area of configuring large systems and analyzing large amount of data in real time where data collection spans millions of customer servers and applications across the world.

Qualifications

• B.S, M.S, or Ph.D in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience in the industry
• Experience with web services
• Programming language: Java
• Good social skills, analytical skills
• Must be a phenomenal teammate
• Experience with open source technologies is a plus
• Experience with cloud technology is a plus

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
