Our team is an internal development team responsible for building solutions, maintaining infrastructure, and generally enabling other teams.  Our ideal candidate will have experience with all stages of software development, with a strong background in front-end development including javascript, typescript, node.js, CSS and HTML.
 

What you'll do

On our team, you will design and develop solutions that help drive organizational efficiencies and feed into Oracle's key product offerings.  At times you might be extending existing solutions, so we would like you to be experienced working with SDKs and APIs.  Other times, you might be building solutions from the ground up.  We work with many tech stacks, including Perl, CGI, Python, XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, Ojet and other js libraries including but not limited to node.js, jquery, knockout, and requirejs. The teams you will be working with are geographically distributed across the world and include developers, designers, product managers, content developers and customer support.  Experience working in Agile development methodology is a plus.  If you are a self-starter, passionate about solving problems, and want to work and learn with a great team, we would love to hear from you!

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
