Oracle seeks an Enterprise Account Executive- Linux & Virtualization Specialist in Taiwan to join its dynamic and growing Oracle Linux and Virtualization Sales organization.  In this role, you will manage relationships within.  The Enterprise Account Manager will leverage key relationships within the assigned customer base to sell the Oracle Linux and Virtualization portfolio of solutions.  You will be responsible for building and cultivating new and existing executive-level relationships. The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new Oracle Linux and Virtualization opportunities.  You will manage accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities
 

  • Create high-value relationships based on sustainable pipeline
  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with VAR’s and Systems Integrators to identify key programs within assigned accounts.
  • Accurately plan, forecast, and close new Oracle business.
  • Work closely with Pre-sales Engineers to identify key projects, programs, and initiatives within assigned accounts.
  • Working with Pre-sales Engineers to establish proofs of concepts and pilot implementations to highlight benefits of Oracle Linux and Virtualization offerings.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Oracle Linux and Virtualization and the market dynamics for targeted growth
  • Become a trusted adviser for senior IT and business executives within assigned accounts
     

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working in IT sales with an exceptional track record.
  • Track record of enterprise sales experience in named territory
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and territory/account development.
  • Broad understanding of the government IT acquisition process.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills along with sales and marketing skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

 

Desirable Qualifications
 

  • Experience selling Linux, Virtualization, DevSecOps, Cloud Native solutions
  • Understanding of Linux, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Virtualization, and automation software
  • Experience selling operating systems, middleware, storage, networking, security, automation, or cloud infrastructure software solutions is a plus.
  • Experience selling open-source software technology or other software/support is major plus
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of technology sales experience. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development. Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
