Job Description

The WTP Leader will be responsible for producing mutually rewarding business outcomes and customer satisfaction for Oracle customers within a set territory. The ideal candidate will generate business plans that fulfil the organization’s strategies, and closely monitor and measure activities, plans, and budgets to ensure desired outcomes.

In this role, you will ensure the success of the ‘Win the Platform’ initiative across the region, and will report to the Regional Technology Cloud SVP with a dotted line to the Regional VP for Technology Software and the EMEA VP WTP Programme Technical Leader.

The WTP success criteria is to:

1. Increase tech cloud consumption

2. Maximise bookings (cloud and/or software/systems)

3. Ensure customer success (through workable solutions that can be delivered)

The individual will drive WTP activity in their region (working closely with EMEA and Regional leadership), take personal accountability for WTP success, help resolve conflicts and disagreements between account teams (working across Cloud, Software, Systems, OCS/ACS etc) and have technical understanding of our solution portfolio, to understand customer choices. They must also have customer facing creditability and skills.

Finally, the successful candidate will constantly review the approaches and propositions being made by the account teams in the regional field teams, to understand what is working and can be improved with WTP, in region and across EMEA.

Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge.
