Oracle NetSuite is looking for dynamic Solutions Consultant to be part of our Solution Consulting organization in the UK. NetSuite is the #1 cloud ERP encompassing ERP/Financials, CRM and ecommerce for more than 30,000 customers.
As a Solution Consultant, your role here will be to develop innovative customer facing solutions by working with the sales organization to understand customer requirements across multiple verticals in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to understand and configure the NetSuite product features and at times be asked to present the strengths, benefits, and competitive advantages to both external customers and internal constituents.
The ideal candidate has both a background in accounting and industry experience having used ERP systems for managing business processes in one or more of the following areas:
- Order Management
- Procurement Management
- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Project Management
- Billing
- Retail Management (ERP)
- Revenue Management
- Manufacturing
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Provide support and assistance to the field sales organization and prospective customers with your knowledge of the NetSuite cloud ERP solution.
- Develop and deliver high quality presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners and at industry events. Where appropriate, working with other Solution Specialists to package these demonstrations as reusable assets for the field.
- Management of NetSuite demonstration environments through data management and implementation of new features to impact sales efficiency.
Required Skills
- Comfortable in financial reporting and general accounting principles
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes in areas mentioned above
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must be able to troubleshoot.
- Strong in Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in a European Language (German, French, Spanish, Italian)
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
