We are looking for highly skilled remote programmers with experience building scalable web applications in Java, JavaScript, and SQL. You would be working with Product owners to analyze product requirements and build features that scale across tens of thousands of systems.

The opportunity is in the Oracle Enterprise Manager group that builds and owns features like database discovery, monitoring, and security, The solution is deployed and used in the data centers or in the cloud of large enterprise customers with hundreds of thousands of systems.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing features
• Analyzing customer requirements to advise implementation design.
• Defining feature objectives and functionality.
• Developing and testing software.
• Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
• Producing detailed design documentation.
• Recommending changes to existing infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Java (Thread, Concurrency, JDBC), JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with user interface design and database schema is a plus.
• Analytical demeanor and good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good social skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements - Internal

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
