Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) implements Oracle software that runs Oracle. OAL is responsible for implementing, running, and improving nearly all of Oracle’s Enterprise On-Premise and Cloud Applications. We use Oracle’s business requirements as a “test bed” for innovation. We often are ahead of the standard product roadmap and build extensions and custom applications to meet the needs of our 120,000-employee, Fortune 100 Company. Once proven, our ideas and innovations can quickly find their way back into the core products. We also ensure that Oracle is always Oracle’s best reference for our enterprise applications. Our team develops custom integrations in Fusion PaaS. We also maintain our own code. We follow Agile methodology and CICD practices. Daily work involves Bug Fixes, Enhancements to the existing code base, writing unit tests and automated tests, and supporting Production integrations. We test new SaaS releases for impact on PaaS integrations through automated, Business and load testing.
As an IT Consultant, your responsibilities and qualifications will include:

• Looking for a minimum of 2 years of related experience with Software/ Application Development.
• BS degree in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent discipline.
• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong understanding of programming logic, standards, patterns and algorithms.
• Experience with Fusion Applications would be a plus.
• Experience with distributed systems & large scale systems, database design (SQL and NoSQL), and/or UI with OJET a plus.
• Experience with these technologies would be a plus: Java, Spring Boot, SQL/ PLSQL

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
