We are looking for a creative software engineer to join our Application Development Tools team in Prague. The team is part of the organization that builds the Oracle JET framework (http://oraclejet.org). We are specializing in developing interactive user-interface components in TypeScript/HTML/CSS. If you are a software developer interested in building responsive and attractive web front-ends, this position is for you.

What would you do?
 
* participate in all phases of product development cycle including planning, feature design and implementation, unit test development, bug fixing, and interacting with internal customers
* develop new and enhance existing features based on product requirements
* work on improving quality, performance and usability of the product
 
Who do we want?
 
* BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
* 3+ years in commercial software development environment
* fully competent in respective area of expertise
* may have a project lead role or supervising responsibility
 
What experience and skill we require?
 
* excellent programming skills, 3+ years experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
* experience with web UI development
* competency with as many of the following technologies as possible:
  - JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, AngularJS, Node.js
  - karma, mocha, selenium, storybook
  - git, yarn, npm
* strong written and verbal communication skills
* good English, both written and spoken
* deep comprehension of importance of teamwork

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
