Job Title: Business Analyst – Oracle Financing Division (OFD)     Location: Taipei

Oracle Financing Division provides Oracle and its distribution partners financing and leasing acquisition solutions for Oracle products and services, and solutions build upon Oracle.   OFD operates in over 70 countries, and supports all of Oracle’s lines of businesses and distribution channels.   OFD is a global leader in technology finance, and seeks employees who can meet the demanding standards of Oracle customers and colleagues.

 

Brief Description

This position is responsible for various finance functions to support OFD globally with objective to centralize and simplify processes.  This position will work closely with OFD Operations, Oracle & Netsuite Collection, Billing/AR Team and other Finance teams to ensure OFD transactions are processed and recorded timely and accurately.

 

Detailed Description

·         Manage receipts and disbursement in Paying Agency Accounts Globally

-    Identify and Disburse receipts for key accounts and various countries

-    Research and Collaborate with internal and outside stockholders for Unidentified Payments  

-    ACH Direct Debit Management in US market

-    Fulfill reconciliation requirement from Controller, Funder or Oracle  

-    Administrative tasks of accounts and payment templates setup

 

·         Coordinate with different Oracle Teams (OCI Cloud, Support Renewal Booking & Order to Cash) to manage Support Renewal under OFD Contract

-    Provide Support Booing Instruction to DRC team

-    Monitor support billing to make sure it is issued timely and accurately.

-    Review OFD Contracts and Oracle Financial Systems to understand the deal profile and any change events on the amendment.  

 

·         Participate on the on-going projects to continue automate processes to improve efficiencies

-    Automation Project of Paying Agency Program

-    Support Contract Number Maintenance

-    Oracle Support Rewards Program

 

Qualifications

·         Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance/Business Management

·         6+ years of work experience in finance/operations with focus areas in Contract Review,  Booking,  AR or AP.  

·         Advance Excel skills. Knowledge of BI or SQLis a plus.

·         Experiences on using Confluence and Jira

·         Ability to think analytically, problem solve and focus attention to detail

·         Strong English written and verbal communications skills

·         Experience working with cross-functional teams and able to work independently

·         Experience with systems and/or process improvement projects

 

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.
