Job Description

The Advanced Customer Services (ACS) practice is a unit within the Oracle Customer Service Organization that establishes long-term relationships with many of Oracle's largest customers through annuity-based service contracts. In order to grow the Oracle Advance Customer Services Business in MEA we are looking for a ACS Sales Director for Egypt territory that will work closely with their assigned clients and the following Oracle teams:

  • ACS SDM community,
  • TSR / ASR License Sales teams,
  • OCS Sales teams,
  • On-Demand Sales teams.

SCOPE:

  • Reports to the Africa & Egypt ACS Cluster Leader
  • Leads ACS business in Egypt.
  • Works with existing customers to maximize revenue opportunities and win new Cross Market.
  • Works towards an allocated license sales revenue target
  • Works across multiple Lines of Businesses collaborating with Consulting, Applications and Alliances & Channels team

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Achieve license sales against the revenue target (annually and quarterly)
  • Maintain understanding of the given sector or territory and Oracle’s value propositions for these sectors or territory
  • Develop pipeline and continuously mature & qualify opportunities in order to increase Oracle ACS’s market share and to be enable achievement of sales target  
  • Monitor the progress of key customer transactions in the sales cycle to ensure Oracle ACS's business processes and procedures are followed
  • Ensure use of planning / reporting tools in a quality & timely manner
  • Builds effective working relationships with key executives
  • Ensuring all contractual agreements between Oracle and the Customer are implemented and maintained
  • Support specific sales opportunities either coaching individuals involved or acting directly as an executive sponsor
  • Engage with relevant Oracle Partners as appropriate
  • Operate in line with Oracle's HR policies and procedures
  • Manage a sales team, providing direction, leadership and motivation
  • Set objectives and review the performance of individuals and take action to ensure targets are met & recruit new team members as required
  • Monitor and review individuals plans, forecasts and sales activities and ensure corrective action is taken as necessary
  • Act as an ambassador for Oracle with customers’ executives
  • Identify and exploit marketing activities and campaigns that support achievement of targets
  • Engage with relevant Oracle Partners as appropriate

 

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • 17 years of relevant senior sales experience from large multinational IT organization
  • Experience of managing a sales team in a multinational IT organization is essential.
  • Experience in enterprise IT sales management is a must.
  • Sales management experience in Saudi is ideal.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Established senior account relationships (CEO, CFO, CIO, IT head) in Saudi Arabia
  • Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, ability to influence others
  • Strong result orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; building/developing relationships, both internally and externally
  • Ability to work in a complex organization; leading or being a member of virtual teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • University degree

Manages sales of the organization’s services (e.g., maintenance and service contracts). Group is responsible for developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment or channel. Incumbents at the Director and Senior Director level typically manage other sales managers. Incumbents at the Manager level may manage only individual contributor sales account managers and may carry their own sales quota. The incumbent’s level may be determined by the size of the geographic area of responsibility (e.g., region vs. district vs. branch), the size or significance of the industry or product segment for which the incumbent is responsible, or other factors.

May be responsible for attaining sales objectives on branch/area/district/regional basis. Responsible for a limited territory/ industry/ product line. Primary duty is to manage individual contributors, but generally operates at a more senior level than Manager level and may manage through subordinates. Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved. Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Manages a number of projects varying in complexity that need technical/business expertise. Focus on best practices and process improvements ensuring effective execution of operational plan while meeting Corporate specifications. Plans, implements and maintain budget for functional areas or sections.
