Partner Marketing & Readiness Manager (note that the ASEAN headcount will cover INDIA too)
As a key member of the JAPAC partner organization, you will be helping to grow the Oracle Netsuite business in ASEAN and India by supporting our partners to achieve their business targets and objectives.
Working closely with the Partner Development and Channel Sales teams, you will jointly develop and execute marketing plans with partners to drive incremental pipeline of leads and opportunities for Netsuite. You will also be responsible to co-ordinate and monitor the enablement status of partners to ensure they are consistently meeting their required competency to be successful in the marketplace.
- You will be developing channel-specific marketing strategies, planning marketing campaigns, and managing marketing communications.
- Able to lead, influence and execute integrated go to market plans with partners and across internal team.
- Manage advertising / public relations and communication activities within the context of the overall business plan.
- Liaise with Channel leaders to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans.
- Maintain necessary relationships with suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives.
- Gather marketing campaign data, evaluating the impact of strategies, and reporting the results.
- Ensure partner readiness and accelerate partner’s growths by collaborating with the cross functional team to support partners.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly readiness and pipeline creation reviews with partners to understand sales blockers and discuss plans to overcome them.
Requirements of the role include:
- Strong communicator and proven success in executing lead generation campaigns and programs.
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skills. Highly skilled in omni-channel marketing methodologies, tools, and social media platforms like LinkedIn Social Selling.
- Experience working across ASEAN countries.
- 10 years relevant work experience.
- Software business management experience.
- Experience in integrated partner marketing is a must.
- Sales, Marketing and Readiness experience in the IT industry.
- E-business + Internet practical know-how.
Manage advertising / public relations and communication activities within the context of the overall corporate plan for the achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control; as defined and communicated by higher management. Provide subordinates with best practice solutions: this will include coaching and development of team members, to meet business goals. Disseminate key corporate information to the geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. Liaise with managing directors to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans. Direct marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the geography. Ensure consistency between global directions and single-geography implementation choices. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns on a geographical basis as needed. Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. Software business management experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business + Internet practical know-how.
