High performing Sales Professionals focused on retailers in ASEAN with a proven sales track record of selling retail portfolio of products and solutions that includes on-premise software and Software as a Service offerings.

·        Takes pride in being the trusted advisor by helping retailers pivot to the customer and identify value creation opportunities

Retailers are accelerating on their digital transformation journeys.  They are re-thinking how they want to engage their customer, how to streamline their processes and assortment/replenishment strategies.  Based on success and growth in the region or specific territory growth, there will be opportunities for territory expansion.

Factors critical to the success

  1. Knowledge of the industry and technology trends with the ability to translate that knowledge and Oracle’s leading retail solutions into thought-leadership.
  2. Proven sales track record in consultative solution selling.
  3. Possess strong account management skills with high touch C-Suite coverage in key retailers such as Department Stores, Fashion/Apparel, Hardlines, Hypermarkets, Supermarkets etc.
  4. Define market strategies for the assigned sales territory to ensure optimum coverage and maximum growth.
  5. Build trusted partnerships with key business partners and global systems integrator across ASEAN region that focuses on net new customer acquisition activities that deliver results and growth.

 

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
