We are currently seeking an Analytics and Data Lakehouse Solution Specialist to join the EMEA Analytics & Data Innovation team.
The Analytics and Data Lakehouse Solution Specialist will support strategic sales engagements with new and existing senior business and IT customers. You will be working directly with the Sales and Account Management teams across the EMEA region to help drive sales and grow cloud consumption. The successful Solution Specialist must have a passion for helping customers find creative ways to solve key business challenges by optimising the use of data, analytics and data science. Finding new ways to constantly improve the satisfaction and loyalty of our customers is a top priority.
This position requires close interaction with customers, sales teams, technology cloud architects/engineers and Oracle partners. The successful candidate will be joining the highly regarded EMEA Analytics & Data Innovation team.
The Analytics and Data Lakehouse Solution Specialist must have expertise in one or several of the following:
· ERP/Finance Analytics, FP&A, Enterprise Performance Management
· People Analytics/HR Analytics, HCM, Recruitment Analytics, Talent Analytics & HR related operational processes
· CX Analytics (Marketing, Sales and Service Analytics), Customer Journeys, etc
· Supply Chain Management Analytics
You must have a good understanding of the operational process for one of more application pillars: ERP, EPM, HCM, SCM or CX.
The successful candidate will have 8+ years’ experience working in Finance, FP&A, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain or CX (Marketing, Sales, Service, Commerce ..) or as an analytics consultant implementing solutions in these areas.
Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence applications is an advantage.
We are looking for team members that develop and deliver high quality value propositions for Line of Business as well as IT customers. The successful candidate will be confident in presenting and demonstrating solutions at CXO level and explaining how the solution achieves the customer’s objectives.
As an EMEA Solution Specialist you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will need to have a high standard of written and spoken English. Fluency in other languages is an advantage.
The role will require international travel.
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.
