Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Apache HTTP Server Administrator you will be responsible for day to day maintenance of the Apache HTTP Server based automation.

The duties will consists of, but will not be limited to:

• build or adapt a tool for Apache HTTP Server centralized management (preferably using a combination of Bash, Perl, Python scripts)
• implementing requirements from customer in a centralized Apache server management tool (the current tool is written using Bash and Perl scripts)
• resolving issues with the management tool
• working with team providing day to day maintenance of Apache HTTP server
• applying security and regular fixes

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

•  demonstrated English both written and spoken
• demonstrated knowledge of Linux OS (RHCSA or higher certificate will be an advantage)
• demonstrated knowledge about Apache HTTP Server
• demonstrated knowledge of Web balancing concepts (loadbalancer, mod_jk, was_plugin, mod_proxy, mod_rewrite)
• demonstrated expertise in Bash scripting
• demonstrated expertise in Perl and Python

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• E2E experience with supporting environments on corporate level (significant number of servers)
• scripting experience (all of: bash, perl, python)
• ITIL Foundation knowledge
• ITSM (IT Service Management) tools: Maximo, IPM/Remedy, HPSM, ServiceNow, ..."
