• Serve as a subject matter expert who provides leadership and direction for Application Tuning, database tuning, code reviews and have expert knowledge of the feature of Engineered Systems which runs these products
• Plan and design architecture changes, schema design, data model reviews, new feature part of major upgrades
• Review Test plan, optimization process during data load, SQL Tuning, performance result tests
• Work with various stakeholders (internal and external), customers to ensure availability and performance for Engineered System running Oracle’s database.
• Define strategy and technical SOPs to ensure entire engineered system stack is up to date with latest releases and patches.
• Drive technical escalations, work with stakeholders to resolve escalated issues
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, customers for technical issues and provide resolution path
• Resolve operational issues assigned with SLAs, meeting required quality levels using ITIL framework
• Take transition for support of new systems, work with stakeholders to ensure the transition is fool proof and to the required quality levels
• Participate in meetings for major technical upgrades. Define upgrade strategy, technical SOPs, plan upgrades and perform upgrades
• Update technical SOPs for various operational tasks periodically or as and when required
• Participate in security and other technical audits
• Coach and mentor any new joiners or existing team members, as and when required
• Ensure availability and required level of performance for production and non production systems running on Engineered System along with Code reviews and Tuning within contractual requirements
• Resolve any outages and drive technical escalations, engage stakeholders (internal & external), customer as and when required
• Resolve incidents for Oracle Database that might be reported as per defined process.  Engage required stakeholders (internal and external), customers in the resolution process as and when required
• Planning and execution for all change management activities related to Engineered System and Oracle database with stakeholders (internal & external), customers to schedule the changes. Eliminate any adverse business impact, minimize down time required for the change management activities
• Work with Oracle’s product teams for any product issues related
• Plan and perform complex upgrades for Engineered Systems and databases. Engage stakeholders (internal & external), customers to eliminate any adverse business impact, minimize system downtime required to perform the upgrade

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.!|!
