We are currently looking for an Oracle Performance Tuning DBA (Business Application Consulting DBA) with a background in Oracle 11g/12c.

 

This skillset includes (but is not limited to) database tuning, SQL & PL/SQL modules and development, code reviews, manage/support database release cycles, and ensure the availability, stability, and performance of all database environments which include Development, QA, UAT, Production, and disaster recovery databases.

 

Hands on experience on Exadata is mandatory.

 

Key responsibilities in this role\:

 

• Plan and design architecture changes, schema design, data model reviews, new feature part of major upgrades
• Review new and existing application code based on application team request
• Review Test plan, optimization process during data load, SQL Tuning, performence result tests
• Deplay and maintain regression test cases
• Report and Analyze database trends, review and advice on capacity planning, involve in change management process
• Key interface between customer and offshore team
• Responsible for troubleshooting and performance tuning
• PL/SQL development of all types of SQL DML statements - functions, stored procs, triggers, etc.
• Proactive code reviews and follow-ups to communicate best practices
• Work with various teams to resolve performance issues
• Recommend industry best practices and standards
• Database development in Oracle 11g/12c
• Utilize knowledge of Data Modeling Concepts using Relational / Star Schema and techniques

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.!|!
