Oracle Applications Lab
(OAL) is responsible for implementing, running, and improving all of
Oracle’s Enterprise Applications\: CRM, HCM, Financials, SCM, you name
it.
We use Oracle's own real-life business requirements as a "test bed" for innovation.
We often race out ahead of standard product and build extensions and custom applications to meet the needs of our 100,000-employee, Fortune 100 Company. Once proven, our ideas and innovations quickly find their way back into core product.
We also ensure that Oracle is always Oracle’s best reference for our enterprise applications.
Responsibilities\:
Within OAL, the Advanced Technology Group (ATG) team manages and implements the IaaS and PaaS infrastructure for major OAL projects.
We use Oracle's own real-life business requirements as a "test bed" for innovation.

Responsibilities\:
Within OAL, the Advanced Technology Group (ATG) team manages and implements the IaaS and PaaS infrastructure for major OAL projects.
Today's projects include delivering the infrastructure and solutions to move Oracle's internal systems to Oracle's Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS and IaaS; performing a global implementation of Oracle's cutting-edge Cloud applications; designing, developing and implementing custom applications and extensions; architecting integration solutions across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and on-premise systems; implementing Oracle BI and Datawarehouse solutions.
We are expanding the team and are looking for people with strong developer and automation skills to deliver applications and tools to manage the numerous high profile critical environments that we support.
We require people with strong abilities in the following areas\:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
• 3-5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in an IT, Consulting or other relevant organization
• Scripting knowledge of one or more of the following\: Shell, Perl, Python, Ansible, Terraform
• Experience with Oracle database (DBA or developer)
• Experience of Oracle Fusion Middleware (Weblogic, ODI, SOA, BI) as an administrator or developer
Preferable skills (although not essential as full training will be given)\:
• Experience of working with any of the following\: Oracle EBS, Fusion ERP/CRM, Cloud SaaS and PaaS technologies
• Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following technologies\: OJet, JavaScript, Java, J2EE, Webservice REST, SOAP, SQL, PLSQL
• Experience of source code control systems eg GIT
• Experience within DevOps area
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Security and Network experience

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
