This position is for the role of a Software QA Engineer for the OHI Components suite of applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•    Write and update test specifications, create and maintain test scripts
•    Execute tests – manual, automated, regression, smoke, performance
•    Collaborate with other team members on assignments
•    Estimate own work and meet milestones and deadlines appropriately
•    Report progress on tasks and projects
•    Understand and improve test processes, tooling etc.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, and Background
•    BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
•    Proficient in testing Java applications with a GUI based on ADF and JET
•    Experience in writing test scripts
•    Experience using SQL Developer
•    Familiar with Oracle application server and database
•    Experience with Selenium and Javascript would be an added value
•    ISTQB certification would be an added value
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Background
•    Domain knowledge of Health Insurance
•    Working knowledge of Automated UI testing

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Testing of software programs for OHI Components suite of applications, tools, etc.

As a member of the product development division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing test cases and scripts and maintaining the same for the OHI software applications.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2-5 years of software testing or related experience.!|!Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
