Department Description\:

HCM Release and operations team is responsible for managing variety of code tree for 100s of developers who are working in 15 countries across the globe. The release and operations team is located in US, India and China. We are responsible for managing the build, merge process for variety of releases. We manage several environments like Development, Quality Assurance, System Test and critical customer POC or demo environments. We are responsible for constantly refining the process and collaborate with variety of teams like development, QA, Program management.

The HCM Release and Operations team is part of the Fusion Applications HCM Development organization, which is building the industry standard cutting edge HCM Cloud product line.

 

Job Responsibilities\:

• ·  Deployment, provisioning, support and management of multiple Dev & QA environments
•     Own the Product Build & Merge process using Fusion Applications Source Code Management Systems 
•    Support development teams to ensure code build issues are investigated and resolved
•    Development of utilities and tools to support various release and operations activities including reporting.
•     Formulate education, support and best practice documentation for development with regard to build/deployment processes, troubleshooting and tools
•       Provide operations related assistance to QA and Info development team
•    The job requires working knowledge in Oracle Technology stack like Oracle Database 11g,12c , Weblogic Application Server, SOA, IDM

 

Candidate Profile\:

·         

•     Must possess 5-10 years of previous Build, Deployment & Release Management engineering experience for Java/J2EE Application/product.
•    Should have experience in working with various levels of organization from development to C-Level
•    Experience with designing and developing build and release processes for an enterprise level product
•   Excellent skills with Shell scripting languages and OS command-line for compilation, versioning, installation, configuration and upgrade of enterprise-level applications.
•    Managing J2ee applications on Weblogic Application Server. Deployment and Troubleshooting on Weblogic is required. 
•       Knowledge of Weblogic Scripting is a big plus 
•       Ability to manage 11g, 12c Oracle databases
•       Good grasp of SQL and PL/SQL for administrative tasks
•      Knowledge of Oracle Apex Technologies to build quick reports using various data sources
•       Knowledge of Linux operating system is required. 
•     Should have hands on knowledge of Backup, Recovery of both database and middle tier.
•      Should have hands on knowledge of performance tuning in Oracle Database

!|!Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
