Named as leader by Forrester in the Q3 2021 Digital Experience platforms report https://www.oracle.com/cx/digital-experience-platform-forrester-wave/ we are looking for a talented sales person to join our successful and highly motivated CX Cloud Sales Team, focusing on sales into the Enterprise customer across NSW & QLD. These are growing sectors for CX.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling Oracle CX Marketing and Advertising Cloud into an assigned consumer portfolio. You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a mix of new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
  • Territory identification and research, to formalize a go to market territory strategy and create qualified target account list within 30 days.
  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence.
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated market sector(s).
  • Engage with prospect organizations to position Oracle CX Cloud Apps through strategic value based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analyst data.
  • Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Pre Sales Consultants, Oracle Consulting, Executives, Partners etc.
  • Generate short term results whilst maintaining a long term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation.
  • Daily update of the Oracle Sales Cloud system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5-10 years relevant experience of selling enterprise software solutions gained within a major software vendor.
  • Martech or CRM application sales or vertical Industry sector experience essential.
  • Successful history of net direct new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets.
  • Demonstrable track record of sales over achievement.
  • Credibility at all levels, including CxO.
  • Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Be creative with strong problem solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales team.

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
