The Oracle Construction & Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) provides the industry’s leading solutions for planning, building and operating assets.

 

The purpose of this role is to provide commercial enterprise account management to a defined and growing portfolio of accounts with the objective of retaining and growing those accounts indefinitely and maximising the sales of the CEGBU products and services to them whilst maintaining a healthy and positive relationship.

 

You will be dealing with a territory of Managed Accounts ranging from medium sized accounts to enterprise level in the Asset Developer / Owner (both Government and commercial) and Construction Industries.

Here are some essential requirements:

 

  • Consistently met and exceed sales targets (solid career track record in sales – demonstrable evidence of exceeding targets consistently)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and diverse customer engagements concurrently
  • 3-5+ years Software Sales experience (with an emphasis on SaaS)
  • Sold complex products requiring “solution sales” (i.e. selling to multiple stakeholders)
  • Excellent commercial experience and knowledge of the sales process and effective sales techniques
  • Ability to confidently present and articulate the business value of the Oracle Construction & Engineering application suite and platform to managers and executives of all levels

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience including 9 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
