Job Description
Work you'll do: 
  • Producing events, from the preplanning stages to post-analysis, including finding and securing the venue, planning and coordinating the catering, entertainment and ambiance, as well as guest hospitalities.
  • Handling the budget, reviewing vendor contracts, planning event logistics, developing registration systems, driving attendance, troubleshooting any problems that arise.
  • Coordinating details of events such as client seminars, anniversaries, charity events, opening ceremony, alumni parties, business meetings, and virtual events.
  • Supporting the SR event senior manager to implement marketing events and strategic sponsorship.
  • Reporting to the senior manager on event results, client relationship enhancement and others.

 

Requirement: 
  • Bachelor degree in relevant fields, such as hospitality, tourism management, business, marketing or public relations.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in event management, or related fields.
  • A drive for creativity, a sense of organizational mission, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and client services skills; tact and flexibility in working with diverse population groups.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written, English/Mandarin/Cantonese) and the ability to represent the firm professionally both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Skills in database management programs is a significant bonus.
  • Familiar with social media.
