Provides consulting and advisory services to clients, as a specialist in the Data & Analytics domain. The candidate should be a highly proficient professional with a good understanding of the domain, backed up by considerable (12+ years) customer facing consulting and implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather design requirements; plan, coordinate and participate in workshops, solution refinement, development activities, and support the testing of data & analytics work streams
- Provide domain expertise in Data & Analytics, with a key focus on data architecture, data warehousing and analytics
- Provide technical leadership to a team of up to 5 resources
- Exhibit confidence and ease when interacting with technical management, middle and senior-level managers (client and internal); ability to use indirect influence to build consensus and support for ideas
- Provide pre-sales support in terms of solution design, and generating proposals
- Demonstrate professional communication skills including presenting in front of clients, client workshops and regional events; development of proposal content, articulation of methodology, and formal written deliverables
- Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within rapidly evolving Cloud offerings
- Network and Collaborate by sharing knowledge and best practices within the team and cross lines of business
- Coordinate with team members at offshore and manage deliverables in consulting projects
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Oracle Data & Analytics solutions
- Must have delivered multiple tier-1, full life cycle implementations
- Strong experience with data warehouse architecture; awareness of emerging data warehouse approaches
- In-depth understanding of database and data principles; data warehousing and data modelling experience
- Physical and Logical Data Modelling
- Experience gathering and analysing system requirements
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
- Lead Interactions with clients’ technical resources and management, ability to plan for and facilitate workshops, influence key decision makers, act independently to develop best-practice, innovative solutions.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and general SDLC, as well as CI/CD concepts and tools. Ability to own the deliverables of a complete scrum team as a technical domain expert.
- Expertise in quick evaluation of product fitment for given requirements, define future roadmap for cloud transformation programs, identify risks and define mitigations.
Mandatory Skills
- Experience in an Oracle ERP data model
- Experience with Oracle Analytics tools including OBIEE, ODI, OBIA, FAW and OACS
- Proven expertise in Custom Data Modelling for Data Warehousing engagements
- Oracle Business Intelligence expertise, preferably with Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EBS experience
- Proven experience in leading onshore Analytics engagements by leveraging Offshore Consultants
- Expertise in SQL and Oracle Database, Analytics and ODI ETL
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Oracle OACS and DVCS)
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Demonstrated ability to convey a strong presence, maintain a professional image, and deal confidently with complex business problems in complex business environments
- Recent implementation experience covering OACS with Oracle SaaS and/or EBS / PeopleSoft / JDE solutions.
Preferential Skills and Certifications
- Knowledge/Experience within another PaaS domain, e.g. Integration
- Has worked on Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) for Financials / Procurement & Spend / Supply Chain OR HCM
- Experience in OBIEE Upgrades
- Knowledge/Integration experience of at least one Oracle SaaS application (ERP, Financials, CX, SCM, HCM)
- Oracle Certification in relevant PaaS solutions
- Agile Scrum certification
- Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning
