We are currently looking for an experienced BI architect for Oracle Financing Division. Expectations for this job role are to architect Business Intelligence solutions that provide answers to business questions and provide direction using data. As a member of the team, you will be getting an opportunity to lead the BI efforts in the area of design, development, support, and administration. In this role, you will get a chance to work directly with the business, development team, and Oracle senior management to provide the BI solutions that enable the growth of the division.

 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop the solutions
• Release and maintain the deliverables
• Administration of the non-prod and prod environments
• User access provisioning
• Partner with Business to deliver the nextgen products
• Provide advanced insights into the data to executives
• Present the work to senior management

 

Preferred Qualifications:

BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent with 7+ years of experience.

Expertise:

• Oracle Database with expertise in OLTP and OLAP data modelling
• ETL / Data Engineering / Data Pipelines
• Predictive analytics
• BI Administration and security
• Release management
• Oracle OAC, OBIEE, Tableau, or other data visualization and ODI tools

Languages

• Python,Java , SQL

Experience with the following types of projects:

• Continuous Integration / Delivery including test automation

Familiarity with Other preferred BI Technologies

• Oracle Golden Gate
• Spark
• Development on Oracle cloud, AWS, GCP
• Docker

Past experience with Financing or Financial Systems will be a plus. 

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
