Job Objective:
- Responsible for managing Bancassurance sales team and development of IO/IS.
- Drive premium income through designated segments within banks and other distribution partnerships in support of the Company’s profitability and sustainable growth objectives

Job Responsibilities:

- Effectively utilize, monitor, and review the key business drivers to achieve sales targets, growth, and profitability objectives.

- Responsible to drive bank partners branches to grow and achieve agreed sales, VONB and persistency targets, coaching IO/IS teams and mobilising business development initiatives as needed.

- Maintain and build effective relationships with partners appropriate key counterparties.

- Implement and effectively utilize sales promotion activities and other marketing activities in support of profitable new business growth and existing business retention.

- Foster a strong sales and customer service culture by collaborating with colleagues and partners to enhance client satisfaction, persistency and workforce productivity.

- To inspire the team members with coaching, counseling advice, support, motivation and information in assisting them to achieve their objectives and goals. Manage team members to increase team performance and productivity levels. Enhance competency of team members and ensure recruitment plans are executed.

- Fulfill legal and compliance requirements. Set high standards of professionalism, be accountable for team and partner conduct.

- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements

Job requirements:

- Degree in Management or business related field/s

- At least 3 years of managerial experience in business / sales development, ideally within insurance and/or banking sectors

- Results driven, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure, innovative and sales mindset

- Proven ability to influence and build sustainable, profitable sales through third party distributors

- Comprehensive knowledge of bancassurance products and processes

- Experienced at training and developing sales teams

- Good analytical and people management skills

- Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, A self-starter, Ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment and A team player
