• Responsible for new application development for South China for high performance plastics for assigned market segments and new segments
• Research into potential key end-users on new design possibilities and turn it into new business opportunities and realize it
• Drive responsible region growth and drive virtual team by program.
• Build close working relationship with strategic global and local clients and business alliances
• Champion new projects and drive it to successful closure, including coordinating between Technical Development, Application Support and Program groups on key accounts management across boundaries
• Initiate new product development to ensure repeated business from key accounts

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science and Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent majors
• Min 8 years working experience in plastic product design, thermoplastics processing and materials knowledge etc, (knowledge in high performance plastics is preferred.)
• Automotive working experience is preferred
• Broad based understanding of polymers, conversion process and secondary operations
• Good team work spirit and significant interaction with regional peers and cross function
• Develop and drive regional growth strategy
• Understanding the application of mechanical engineering concepts to Part Design DFMA & System Cost Analysis
• Proven project management skills – able to manage multiple projects / new products rollout concurrently
• Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin
• Self-starter and a strong team player
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
