Job Description

The Business Development Leader for Tech Cloud ASEAN is responsible for planning and building a sales pipeline for our cloud sellers. This includes making sure oracle is well-positioned to win and the pipeline is progressing to upside or forecast and no opportunity is left behind.  Role would suite sales person/leader looking to diversify to management and marketing taking a wider view of the market and building that potential for Oracle in ASEAN.

BDG offers a dynamic business mostly focused on middle market in FY21/22, where the largest growth in consumption is expected.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Develop goals for business development aligned with sales segment, territory and 
  • Lead 10-15 business development representatives (BDC) to drive the demand generation in market
  • Co-work with local Marketing team for demand generation
  • Drive progress of BDC programs execution with team and stakeholders
  • Manage the overall demand generation activities according to the sales play
  • Proactively identify the potential issues and involve all necessary resources to solve it
  • Engage with local MD to make sure the BDC resources have been well utilized as expected
  • Develop BDC reps capability to sell Cloud applications and specific BDC pillar applications

Candidate Requirements :

  • Bachelor degree or above in business or IT related area
  • 15+ years working experiences in with companies with the functional focus like sales, marketing or demand generation
  • Having quality sales skill and some knowledge around cloud and value add of cloud and applications to the business process
  • Strong leadership on driving team result, familiar with cross-function engagement and collaboration
  • Great experience on people management, project management, new market development, sales-driving and program/campaign execution
  • Well skills on executive level of communication, presentation, collaboration and work with different LOB leaders
  • Great capability on working under high pressure, limited timeframe and resources
  • Be able to work as: hungry, aggressive, proactive and passionate attitudes
  • Quota or goal carrying experience
Provides daily operations management of the inbound/outbound telemarketing call response and lead qualification functions. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.

Manages, through other managers, a team of telesales business development representatives for a territory/region. Provides operations management of inbound and outbound call response and lead qualification functions. Creates product, sales, and business function training programs. Oversees coordination of marketing (direct mail, advertising, etc.) activities with Marketing organization. Contributes to strategic and tactical planning for the division. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and makes hiring decisions. Manages budget.

Experience qualifying prospects and customers; understanding of the sales cycle process. Strong leadership skills. Strong Oracle product knowledge. BA/BS preferred. Experience managing staff. Assist in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Able to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.
