Business Engagement Lead – Melbourne, AU

We are looking for a brilliant communicator with a proven track record in content creation who thrives

in a high-tempo environment, loves to take initiative and can spark bold and off-centre ideas to

creatively drive our communication.

Reporting to the Vice President of Consulting, you will be an important member of the Consulting team,

supporting a customer-centred, diverse and dynamic set of people working with cutting edge

technology across industries.

This multi-dimensional role focuses on :

a. Communication :

 External :

a. Own & develop Advocacy framework that will be implemented by Portfolio

team

b. Drive Customer Advocacy Programs and bi-annual customer meets to

celebrate client wins. Marketing events for OC prospects using OC

advocates, reviewing content being prepared by APAC OC Ext Comms &

Oracle Marketing. Effective use of storytelling to create compelling stories of

success for customers. Platforming key decision makers from within the

client-organisations to share their innovation and transformation journeys.

c. Driving communication from the desk of the VP, Consulting. This will include

email, LinkedIn posts, articles and blogs. Effective use of collaboration tools

to celebrate team wins, recognise key talent, disseminate key learnings and

provide timely and relevant industry updates.

 Oracle XLOB :

a. Internal Oracle xlob newsletter, xlob engagement events

 Oracle Consulting :

a. Team culture/ employee experience/messaging, (volunteering, newsletter,

all hands, Induction content), reviewing content being prepared by APAC OC

Internal Comms and ANZ Internal Comms

b. Internal Change Management for OC :

 Embedded in to SMT/MT/Group Meetings to share the vision / strategy and utilise

inputs to create change initiatives and programs

 Strategy and execution of Change initiatives and programs

Key Skills

You are an energetic and creative livewire with diverse interests and an ability to think laterally.

You have :

 Strong written communication skills including the ability to customise style and content across

diverse media and platforms.

 Deep and wide understanding of digital media and the ability to drive reader engagement.

 Experience in driving internal change management

 Ability to prioritise and multi task with strong organisation skills.

Responsible for driving the customer marketing strategy by defining, building and executing programs that deliver a steady stream of well-targeted customer reference assets and activities to support awareness, demand generation, and sales as well as connecting them with the right advisory initiatives and inviting and connecting them with the appropriate peer groups.

Define and build programs, and execute a detailed plan that delivers a steady stream of customer success stories and references to support awareness, demand generation and sales cycles. Advocate on behalf of Oracle customers by connecting and enrolling them in appropriate advocate program elements and take a team-based approach to keeping customers engaged with Oracle. The success of this role means higher customer satisfaction, retention and expansion of Oracle business. Develop and manage relationship with customer stakeholders to ensure they are leveraging our solution to achieve maximum business value. Acquire a deep knowledge of our customer base, existing customer story content, mine and use that content to increase its effectiveness, and manage that content to increase usability and visibility. Understand and support the needs of internal and external stakeholders, and communicate their needs. Connect them with the right advisory initiatives and invite and connect them with the appropriate peer groups and develop reciprocal advocacy relationships. Match sales reference requests to appropriate references in a consultative model. Develop and manage relationship with top accounts to speak to press and analysts, take sales reference calls, and participate in marketing activities (case studies, awards, videos, reference forums, speaking opportunities)

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. Advanced technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business + Internet practical know-how. Experience with communities a plus.
