Technology Named Italy team is a Software and Cloud sales line of business covering the Italian cluster, which consists in about 80 sales reps and 20 sales managers.

The main objective of the Business Operations function is to provide support to enable the successful, efficient and effective operation of the sales organization.

Business Operations Specialist is a member of the Italian Field Business Operations team, which in turn reports to a Regional/EMEA based group, and performs tasks related to GTM planning, territory management, pipeline and forecast cycle, reporting and analysis, preparation of business reviews and sales programs coordination.

We are currently seeking to hire a Business Operations Specialist to support our sales team.

The responsibilities will include the following key areas:

Governance & Business Planning:
o    Assist with the implementation of the governance model
o    Assist with the LOB strategy development
o    Drive implementation of new processes, procedures and tools
o    Providing suggestions for optimizing and automating the sales experience journey

Business management & Business Insight:
o    Provide business insight and recommendations to meet/overachieve sales KPIs
o    Coordinate Territory planning and maintain territory lists in Oracle NGS
o    Maintain and support pipeline through analysis and data-quality activities
o    Assist sales teams in sales forecasting process
o    Interact with Sales Managers and Reps to address business related questions and issues
o    Support Customer data quality

Sales Programs:
o    Help define and coordinate EMEA and Local sales initiatives as well as programs as requested by senior business operations management and sales leadership team
o    Assisting with the preparation of reports, strategic decks and presentations, including collating information from multiple stakeholders / members of the team.

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.
