Job Description
Experience Level
- 1-3 years of experience relevant to this position specially in the Telecom Domain / Industry including some consulting experience.
- BE/BTech/MCA/MTech in any of this branch - Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications.
- Any experience as a consulting professional having prior exposure to Design and Development on Oracle BRM/ECE/PDC/BI publisher with related tools and technologies with good understanding of the BSS domain.
Responsibilities
- To work on multiple Oracle Communications BSS Suite of products
- Maximize use of standard Oracle BSS products, their processes and capabilities
- Working with all the BRM modules (Subscription Management, Billing & Invoicing, Payments & Account Receivable, Collections, Integration) Experience in understanding the requirement and translating that to functional and low-level design
- As required travel to customer locations for project delivery
Mandatory Skills
- Strong C, C++ programming skills and knowledge on Java technologies. Experience in C/C++, Oracle 12c/19c, PL / SQL, PCM Java, BRM Webservice, Scripting language (Perl/python)
- Strong understanding of BRM Architecture and experience working on BRM configurations for Real time / offline Rating, Product configuration using PDC, Real time/Batch rating, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Payment Handling, Taxation, Invoicing Customization, Discount Configuration Exposure of Customer implementations for two or more BRM implementations Policy customization using PCM C or PCM Java, Writing MTAs Domain Knowledge of Convergent billing and the various modules involved in the same
- Must have worked as a BRM developer in their past and must be hands-on in BRM to verify the sanity of the solution with the help of POCs/prototypes - experience in development required and not support/operations work
- Should possess awareness of TMF ODA/eTOM, RODOD
Desirable Functional/Technical Skills
- Domain knowledge on Pre-paid, Post-paid Billing areas for Broadband/Wireless Voice/SMS/Data service provider Good problem solving, troubleshooting & communication skills Knowledge on deploying Billing and Revenue Management on premise and/or cloud infrastructure Should have customer-facing skills and should be able to drive workshops with the customer using Oracle tools, technologies, products, and methodologies Should have experience working on waterfall or Agile/Scrum or iterative model projects and should be flexible to work on DevOps environment
- Understanding of Cloud Native tools, technologies and framework
As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
