Responsibilities:

 

1. Perform complex and high level product development, design, research and analysis
2. Full responsibility for the architecture of a significant portion of a product.
3. Drive improvements to software engineering best practices and design principles
4. Take full responsibility on critical / complex customer escalation issues
5. Work closely with Performance Benchmark team to enhance performance or resolve performance issues from customers
6. Take the lead to create technical design specifications based on functional designs
7. Convert design specifications into high quality working code within allocated budget and time frame
8. Create high-quality, simple, flexible code that meets technical specifications and standards
9. Perform and improve software security and performance profiling
10. Provide technical mentorship and coaching junior engineers of the team and your peers
11. Ensure quality of deliverables by adhering to project standards
12. Conduct code review significant portion of product in the team
13. Resolve complex product issue identified during all phases of testing
14. Resolve complex service requests raised by customers according to defined processes and within set timeframe
15. Seeks new tools, methods, techniques, and accesses extensive resources, acting as a widely consulted expert internal resource.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1. Bachelor/Master degree in a field relevant to functional area
2. Ability to communicate technical details clearly across team
3. Strong experience being an application architect for large-scale enterprise application software
4. 12+ year hands on experience on software design and development with backend services
5. 12+ years of solid work experience in OOP, C#, .NET Framework, Client-side scripts, relational DBs (Oracle DB and MSSQLServer).
6. 5+ years of architecting or designing distributed system or related web services
7. Strong familiarity and experience on implementing SOLID principles and other design patterns
8. Strong experience in Microsoft/Oracle DB techniques, relational database design, normalization and data models
9. Strong experience of the software development lifecycle and methodology
10. Strong experience of object-oriented design and development
11. Strong analytical skill with systematic and structured approach to software design
12. Microsoft Azure and related C# .NET Certification is plus
13. Excellent communication and fluent spoken & written English skills are mandatory
14. Good time management skills. Consistently delivers high quality results on time
15. Works well with others in achieving goals and building productive relationships
16. Plans tasks and projects and defines the resources needed for achievement of deliverables
17. Experience with or exposure to Agile software development and Scrum
18. Has experience working globally is a plus.
19. Knowledge of Food and Beverage industry is a plus.

 

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
